IZAAS Care And Support Programme (also known as IZAAS Medical Project) - was initiated, in 1997, by Mr. Raza Fazal.
It aims at providing treatment and care to the handicapped, medically needy and orphans. The assistance provided by
IZAAS aims to EMPOWER people to fight against poverty in the Bukoba District of Tanzania and the surrounding areas.
This goal confirms to the main objectives of both NGOs Policy and National Poverty Eradication Strategy.
The project was founded and is supported by a number of businessmen and their families stationed at Bukoba namely: Late Hussein Visram,
Late Sughrabai P Bandali, Mr Vanulal Atara, Mr Pravin Mehta, Mr Mohamedali Haji, among others, Mr Abdulhussein Hassanali of England was
equally supportive of the project at its formation, and continues to support the project from abroad.
Over the years IZAAS has attracted and gained supporters and donors from abroad including America, Canada, England, Holland, Germany and
